Read the notarial fee and service charges separately
GSCCCA's current Georgia notary guidance states an authorized fee of $2 for each notarial act. A further $2 applies only when the requester asks for a Clerk of Superior Court certificate confirming the commission's effectiveness; it is not an automatic addition to every act. Our standard estimator does not add that certificate charge.
Paper & Sign's mobile-service prices are separate business charges. Review the actual selected travel tier, services and scheduling options, rather than treating the statutory fee as the complete mobile-visit price. The separate lines make the proposed scope easier to discuss; final charges need confirmation before the appointment.
Keep three counts distinct
- Participants: the people who need to take part in the visit.
- Notarial acts: the work the notary expects to perform after the document requirements are clarified.
- Printed or scanned pages: the quantity used for a separately requested printing or scan-back service.
Do not substitute a page count or signer count for the notarial-act count. Tell the service what you have and ask which quantities belong in the request. Our multiple-signers guide provides a planning sheet.
Two illustrative estimates
These examples use the current site price table and the same calculation rules as the appointment estimator. They are planning examples, not invoices or confirmed bookings. Both assume a regular weekday appointment with no rush, evening, weekend or holiday option, and no appearance or real-estate signing service.

Check our mobile notary service areas and confirm the travel tier and location before relying on the estimate. Printing is included only in the second example, and scan-back is a separate selection. The examples will change if the central price table changes.
Check optional services and timing
Review requested printing, scan-back, appearance or real-estate signing work as individual selections. If multiple timing options are selected, the current estimator lists each once. Ask which options actually apply to the appointment before confirming the charges.
If a service needs a custom quote, an amount shown as a known subtotal does not include that unresolved price. The complete amount depends on the confirmed scope. Use the pricing page and estimator to explore your own selections, then contact Paper & Sign with questions.
Reconfirm changes before the visit
A different location, more documents, additional services or a changed time can affect the estimate. Ask for the updated itemization before agreeing to revised charges. If a visit cannot proceed, discuss any applicable cancellation or rescheduling terms rather than assuming either a charge or a waiver.
